Photographs documenting Stroke Across America, a cross-country bike trip raising awareness for stroke, aphasia, and the recovery process. A group of riders—two stroke survivors, a care partner, a traumatic brain injury survivor, two interns, and a mini goldendoodle—spent the summer of 2022 biking from Astoria, OR to Boston, MA. The trip lasted 100 days, and the group biked 4,500 miles while hosting events in major cities to raise awareness.
